Expectations from college life

College may not be a cakewalk but you sure will have loads of fun. From gaining knowledge to extracurricular activities, college life will play a crucial role in moulding your future. It might be tough initially but as you settle in, it will become easier and fun.

College is an important stepping stone for everyone and is an exciting time in our lives. Everyone has some expectations from college and most of my expectations were being fulfilled at ISBF.

Starting college is a big jump from school and choosing a college is a tedious task. I chose to join ISBF with high hopes and expectations and needless to say, I have had some of the best times here. When I joined college I wanted to be able to grow academically and socially and ISBF has been instrumental in providing such a platform. I get to study a world-class curriculum that very few people have the opportunity to pursue.

High school and college lives are drastically different. In the past year and a half, I have learned to be independent and manage my time appropriately. I expect to continue to learn more real-life skills during my time here at ISBF. With an LSE degree under my belt, I hope that I am exposed to new and exciting opportunities that will enable me to secure a bright future.

When I had joined college I expected to meet new people who come with diverse academic backgrounds, and over the years I have made friends with varied interests, the guest lectures and other events in college help me to interact with the real-world problems and explore my other talents. This has helped me grow my social circle and build my confidence. Last but not the least, I want my college life to be full of challenges and so that I am constantly motivated to achieve my goals.
