Fees & Funding

Every ISBF student is a de facto full-fledged student of University of London (UOL), and must therefore pay a fee to both ISBF and UOL every year for the duration of the programme. The fees are typically paid across several instalments. Funding is available for all students in the form of scholarships, bursaries and academic prizes, as well as through education loans.

Fees

The total fee for all undergraduate degree programmes at ISBF is approx. INR 21.35 Lakh, across 3 years. This covers the University of London’s registration and examination fees, and ISBF’s admission and tuition fees, as well as applicable taxes. Click here for the detailed fee structure and refund policy.

There is an additional fee for accommodation in the ISBF hostel. Click here for the details of the same. Living expenses and cost of travel are not covered by these fees.

Funding – Scholarships

Scholarships are offered across all years of study. Details of the scholarships available from ISBF, LSE and UOL are given below.

At the time of admission, in the first year of study

ISBF Scholarship: This is available at the time of admission, i.e. for the first year of study and can continue for second and third year, subject to the awardee maintaining a stipulated level of academic performance. It comprises a waiver of up to 100% of the ISBF Tuition fees. It is awarded on the basis of merit and need, measured by the candidate’s performance in the iMET and PI, and financial need. Click here to download the ISBF Scholarship Application Form.

Since the scholarship application deadline is generally quite soon after the admission decision notification date, candidates are advised to keep their scholarship applications ready in advance.

ISBF Bursary
This is a fee waiver awarded to incoming students purely on the basis of financial need.

In the second and third years of study

University of London (UoL) Achievement Award: This is awarded on merit to top UoL students in the Indian subcontinent. It comprises a waiver of 100% of UoL’s second and third year Tuition fees.

LSE Summer School Scholarship: Every year, two ISBF students receive this from LSE to attend Summer School, and pursue a course of their choice for three weeks, amongst students from all over the world. Click here to read more.

3-Country Prize: To reward academic excellence among undergraduate students, University of London gives out the 3 Country Prize every year, to the top five performers in the 1st year LSE examinations from the Indian subcontinent. Recipients have their UOL continuing registration and examination entry fees waived completely in 2nd year.

Letter of Commendation: A Letter of Commendation is awarded by University of London to a degree student who attempts at least three full courses, and scores at least 70% in each examination.
