Research Cell

Research Cell at ISBF was established in the year 2019 with an aim to introduce students to research objectives, methodology and tools, training the student body in relevant tools including Excel and Stata, allowing for exposure to different fields of research, and supporting original research through internal and external opportunities.  Research Cell at ISBF organizes an annual Paper Presentation Competition and also publishes the ISBF Journal of Economics, Management and Finance.

What is the process?

The research cell is driven by a pool of faculties at ISBF, who focus on helping students to hone skills that will allow them to produce tangible research output towards the end of the academic year. The process of students’ selection starts in the first week of September. It’s a two-stage selection process involving a short interaction with the faculties. This is followed by the completion of assigned work within a stipulated time period. Each student is allotted a mentor as per their area of interest. The Cell also organizes a “Paper Presentation Competition” at the end of the academic session. Students receive feedback from the faculties to improve upon their work and the best paper is awarded.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
