The University of London (UoL), established in 1836, is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the United Kingdom. Comprising 17 colleges and 10 specialised research institutes, UoL has a long-standing history of academic excellence. The University of London International Programmes, established in 1858, is a unique endeavour to make UoL’s educational expertise and resources available to students across the globe. Under this programme, UoL has 29 Affiliate Centres in different regions of the world.
ISBF was granted a UoL Affiliate Centre status in India, in 2006, after stringent quality assessments. The facilities, faculty and academic standards at ISBF have been deemed equivalent to those provided at the University of London.
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the 17 colleges under the University of London. LSE is ranked 1st in the UK and 2nd among global universities for Social Sciences (Economics) and Management by the QS World University Rankings, 2019.
LSE provides academic direction for the undergraduate and graduate programmes taught at ISBF. All courses offered at ISBF are designed by the LSE and students are groomed to cultivate an exploratory and involved approach towards academics. ISBF students access to study material and online resources designed by the educators at the LSE. Exam papers are set by the LSE faculty, examinations are conducted at the British Council Centre and transcripts are sent to the LSE for grading. The results are declared globally along with all other Affiliate Centers across the world.
