MUN Cell Training Session

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]ISBF MUN and Debating Cell conducted a two day workshop on 24th-25th September to help the members of the cell understand the concepts behind the MUN and also brief them about the rules and procedures of a Model United Nations setup. The event started with an introductory session of all the members of the cell, followed by them giving their own perspective on what MUNs are and how they believe being part of this cell would help them become a better version of themselves in various aspects of life and inculcate skills such as communication, confidence and leadership skills. The session involved the office bearers sharing their experience, giving examples and teaching the members about how a MUN is conducted including details upon point of information, moderated/unmoderated caucuses, crisis situation, general speakers list/provisions speakers list and resolution/press release. The interactive session involved students gaining knowledge about the concept of MUN and building their confidence in order to take part and represent ISBF at upcoming MUN conferences. The members also gained knowledge about the importance of diplomacy and foreign policies. Overall, the two sessions culminated successfully. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
