IMH x Zariyaa | Kalesh - Part 1

IMH held its second event of the year in collaboration with Zariyaa, called Kalesh. Both societies are looking to have regular installments of this event throughout the academic year. Kalesh is a safe space where we bring together members of the ISBF community to discuss important and current social issues. Part 1 of the discussion pertained to ‘social media trials’. IMH was moderating the discussion and had set a safe space in place, to ensure that all participants were comfortable sharing their thoughts and opinions without any fear of judgement or toxicity. The discussion had rules that IMH ensured were followed so not only a lively discussion could happen, but sensitivities would also be upheld and no participant would feel attacked. A concrete conclusion was reached after an hour and half, with key takeaways being presented by both Zariyaa and IMH. We look forward to conducting more of this event as IMH society members who attended reacted very positively to the idea, and had made it clear to us that it was an event they would like to see in the future.
