Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated on the 15th of August 2020 by Girl Up Zia on their Instagram Page. With a mindset to do something different on Independence Day, we celebrated by hosting a Netflix Party to Stream Gunjan Saxena! We also had a fun activity, which involved using emojis to guess national objects like the emblem, bird, animal etc. In order to educate our young impressionable audience about India, we shared fun and interesting facts about the country around transportation, important places etc. In the end, to create an impact, we conceptualized and executed a video which just through its actions, was able to convey why we must always respect the National Anthem.
