8-ball Pool Championship

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Sports society conducted its 4th event of the academic year, “Online 8 ball pool championship” on 29th January 2021.
The event saw a decent participation of 16 people from all the batches. The championship was conducted on the 8-ball pool app by Miniclip. Each participant was paired with another and was supposed to play 3 matches together. The game was conducted in a best of 3 format with a knockout tournament. The players showed enthusiasm during the tournament and had a great time.

The final was played between Siddharth Thiagarajan and Aaron Jensen. In this nail-biting match, Aaron won the first two matches and thus winning the tournament. Aaron was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1500 and Siddharth with Rs 500.
