Admission Procedure

arrow icon Vision Statement ( 2 questions, upto 200 words limit ): As part of the application process, candidates must highlight their academic and other strengths, including co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements.

Step 2: ISBF Entrance Test

The ISBF Entrance Test or iMET is conducted online and it tests a candidate’s ability to reason logically, assimilate information meaningfully from multiple reading sources, and apply concepts learned in Mathematics up to Class X.

Note: Candidates who have obtained a composite SAT score of 1300 (within the 5-year validity period) or more and those with at least 85 percentile in CUET & 85 percentile in IPMAT will be exempted from iMET.

Step 3: Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a Personal Interview where they will be tested for communication skills, acumen for learning, academic curiosity, and motivation to study at ISBF.

**The final selection criteria comprise the iMET score (weightage – 50%), performance in the Personal Interview (weightage – 30%), and Class XII Board examination score (weightage – 20%), if available. All decisions of the ISBF Admissions Committee are final and binding. If Class XII Board scores are not available, the selection criteria will comprise only the iMET score and performance in the PI. Candidates who perform exceedingly well in the admission process may be made an unconditional offer of admission.

Eligibility

Route 1:

The ISBF Entrance Test (iMET) is conducted online and assesses a candidate’s logical reasoning ability, comprehension and interpretation of information from multiple reading sources, and application of Mathematics concepts up to Class X level.

Route 2:

Candidates who have secured a composite SAT score of 1300 or above (within the 5-year validity period), or have achieved at least the 85th percentile in CUET or IPMAT, will be exempted from appearing for the iMET.

Route 3:

Candidates may apply under this route only if they possess valid certification in the chosen category. Upon review of the submitted certificates, eligible candidates will be granted an exemption from the iMET and will be directly shortlisted for the Personal Interview round.

Fee Refund Policy:

If a student wishes to withdraw their admission from ISBF for any reason, the refund will be processed strictly as per the refund policy stated in the Offer Letter, which the student accepts at the time of confirming admission. A written request (email or letter) for withdrawal and refund must be submitted on or before the refund deadline mentioned in the offer letter.

Please note the following important points:

  1. The withdrawal/refund request must be emailed to programmeoffice@isbf.edu.in.
  2. Requests received after the refund deadline stated in the offer letter will not be considered.
  3. Verbal or telephonic requests for withdrawal or refund will not be accepted.
  4. Refund processing will take a minimum of 6 weeks from the date the request is received, and the original fee receipt must be submitted to the Undergraduate Admissions Team.
  5. The second and third fee instalments are non-refundable.
