YOUNG SCHOLAR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

The Young Scholar Research Mentorship Program at ISBF is a unique opportunity for high school students (Grades 9-12) to immerse themselves in the exciting world of academic research under expert faculty guidance. Designed as a 3 month structured program, it introduces students to the fundamentals of research, helping them identify their interests and shape them into meaningful research questions. Through weekly sessions (just 1 hour per week), students receive mentoring that balances academic rigor with practical execution. They will learn how to ideate effectively, structure their work systematically, and ultimately draft their first research paper. This not only strengthens analytical and critical thinking skills but also builds confidence in academic writing and problem-solving key competencies for future university studies. The program is ideal for curious and motivated learners eager to go beyond textbooks and explore how research shapes knowledge and policy. With a focus on guided ideation, structured execution, and independent inquiry, students will graduate from the program with both a deeper understanding of research and a tangible academic output.
