LSE X ISBF EMFSS Quiz

The EMFSS Quiz at ISBF tested students on economics, business, finance, and social sciences through both online and offline formats. Delhi-NCR participants competed onsite, while others joined remotely. The quiz had two rounds- preliminary and final, held in a hybrid mode. It offered students a platform to showcase knowledge and engage intellectually.

The Entrepreneurship Cell proudly hosted its flagship inter-school event, the Shark Tank Challenge, aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial curiosity among young students. Participants from various schools pitched innovative business ideas to a panel of judges, showcasing creativity, confidence, and strategic thinking. The event provided a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to gain practical feedback and learn the nuances of pitching and business model development. It also reinforced ISBF’s focus on encouraging innovation, leadership, and real-world application of economic and business concepts at an early stage.

Toastmasters Session

ISBF hosted an engaging Toastmasters Club session, offering students a platform to refine one of the most essential professional skills, effective communication. The session focused on enhancing public speaking, leadership abilities, self-confidence, and personal awareness. Through interactive activities, impromptu speaking rounds, and constructive feedback, students gained insight into how clear communication can transform both academic and professional journeys. The session successfully encouraged participants to step out of their comfort zones, maximising their potential and motivating them to continue developing their oratory and leadership skills.

The FinLyt Summit

ISBF proudly hosted the FinLyt Summit, a two-day celebration of financial literacy, innovation, and experiential learning. With participation from around 200 students across both days, the summit featured a variety of events designed to make finance engaging and accessible. Anchored around the theme of finance and its real-world applications, the summit included competitions such as the FinLyt Premier League, workshops, interactive sessions, and learning activities tailored for both school and college students. Every event encouraged participants to think critically, apply financial concepts creatively, and collaborate effectively. The FinLyt Summit successfully brought together young learners, mentors, and industry insights, creating a platform where curiosity, learning, and fun merged seamlessly.

November brought with it the excitement of the ISBF Premier League (IPL), one of the most anticipated student events of the semester. The tournament kicked off with spirited player auctions, where team owners strategised, bid, and built their squads with enthusiasm and competitive banter. Four dynamic teams were formed, each determined to claim the coveted trophy. The matches that followed were filled with powerful performances, teamwork, and some nail-biting finishes, creating an electric atmosphere on the field. Beyond the cricketing thrill, the ISBF Premier League served as a fantastic bonding experience, bringing together students from different years and programmes to celebrate a shared love for sport, teamwork, and spirited competition.

The much-awaited Navrang, ISBF’s annual cultural fest, brought a burst of colour, music, and joy to the campus. Over multiple days, the college came alive with electrifying performances, creative showcases, and competitions that highlighted the incredible range of student talent. From dance and music to fashion, art, and theatre, every event was a celebration of creativity and collaboration. Navrang wasn’t just a fest, it was an expression of the ISBF spirit, blending enthusiasm, inclusivity, and community into one unforgettable celebration that left lasting memories for everyone involved.

Placement Modules with Ms. Mehak Modgil

As part of the placement preparation module, ISBF organised an insightful and highly interactive session conducted by Ms. Mehak Modgil. The highlight of the module was Sprint Tank, an activity inspired by Shark Tank, where students were divided into teams and challenged to develop and present a complete business proposal. The exercise emphasised critical thinking, teamwork, and real-time problem solving, pushing students to articulate ideas persuasively and defend them with confidence. Ms. Modgil guided participants through essential skills such as structuring pitches, analysing feasibility, and communicating effectively, making the session both practical and empowering. Sprint Tank proved to be a valuable professional development experience, equipping students with tools that will serve them well in internships, placements, and future entrepreneurial pursuits.
