The Careers Team (CT) at ISBF is dedicated to the task of identifying exciting internship and placement opportunities for students. This process begins with rigorous upskilling, which continues throughout the duration of your programme. Comprising one-on-one counselling, personality development sessions and the comprehensive Placement Module, this training significantly enhances your employability and equips you to succeed at recruitment drives conducted by coveted employers.
The 3-month long Placement Module addresses several individual aspects of your employability, and is compulsory for all those seeking employment opportunities. With training in areas like drafting a cogent resumé, aptitude test-taking and interview techniques, the Module aims to arm you with the skills required to land that dream job!

The BSE Boot Camp, an annual experiential learning workshop organised by University of London (UOL) and the London School of Economics (LSE), is another employability event undertaken by ISBF students. Selected students gain invaluable hands-on exposure to capital markets, securities trading, financial instruments, valuation techniques and portfolio management.

Industry visits are undertaken by ISBF students as career exploratory opportunities. Students of Economics programmes are hosted by World Bank every year, Finance students go to the National Stock Exchange, and Management students visit business units such as Yakult DANONE or Shahi Exports. The visits also include discussions on various aspects of each organisation’s work, and will thus provide you with both practical knowledge and an illustration of career prospects.
