Most of our students would agree that life truly ‘begins’ at ISBF. This is where you build precious memories and receive those first impressions of adulthood – enthusiastic moorings, fun learning, exchanging ideas, developing new perspectives and nurturing life-long friendships.
ISBF gives the students a number of opportunities and extra-curricular choices to bond with like-minded friends, explore their talents, express themselves and build distinct identities. A direct reflection of the vibrant student life are its societies that actively support students who want to take initiatives within college or participate at various inter-college events and fests. |

| SOCIETIES FOR CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES |
| Co-curricular activities are an integral part of education at ISBF. These activities are organized by student societies constituted for this purpose. Students are encouraged to manage the societies largely through coordination and team work. Guidance and co-ordination assistance can of course be sought from the Student Affairs team and the Faculty members designated for this purpose. Time slots are provided in the overall time schedule to accommodate the co-curricular activities. Some of the societies for the current academic session are : |

| 1. Editorial Board/ Debating Group |
 |
| From the ISBF Newsletter to the Student Council Web Page, from blogging to informing constituents of issues and proceedings of the Student Council, campus-wide activities, and other issues affecting the students – the Ed-Board functions like the College News Channel. Contributors to the Ed-Board also actively spearhead the debating group that has won many inter-college awards in the past. |

| Compassion is the single most important core value of the ISBF Social Work Society. The society is responsible for planning and coordinating community service projects and often working with the local NGOs to keep students informed of upcoming opportunities. All in all, driving social change is the motto of the Social Work Society. |

| The highlight of the year is ISBF’s Annual Fest – ‘Xenia’ - an initiative by the students, for the students and with the students. Xenia gives students an opportunity to become team players, leaders and even entrepreneurs planning for a successful event. The Super success story of Xenia 2009, marked by active participation by the best DU colleges – LSR, St. Stephans, HansRaj, Hindu, IIT; organizing complete sponsorships and putting the whole show together; is best elucidated through the video below: |
