2012 Placement Report
Function Wise Final Placements
The last batch of students had a bonanza of corporate companies on
campus. Students received over 150 job opportunities across 35 companies.
Diverse profiles satisfied the aspirations of the students, who had several
job functions to choose from. The highest in demand with the students was
the Finance profile, which attracted 41% of the total recruitments of the
functional recruitments with 20% in Operational roles and 21% as Research
analysts. Marketing profiles accounted for 35%. HRM albeit in less demand
accounted for 24% of the profiles.
Recruiting Companies 2012
Companies which came to the ISBF campus covered several sectors of
Industry. Based on the student requirements, over 45 companies gave the
opportunity to our students to showcase their competencies and talents.
Across both final placements and on the job trainings, 9 industry sectors
were covered. While consulting firm’s and research companies took the lion’s
share of student interest, we also had a few students who were attracted to
Education, Infrastructure, FMCG, ITeS and Telecom.
