The festival that aroints darkness arrived two days in advance for the students of ISBF, The pre-diwali fest at ISBF was celebrated on the 26th of October . The college was embellished with lanterns, diyas and rangolis, the joyous spectacle was a sight to behold, on the appointed day all the students turned up in a canvas of colorful ethnic dresses to celebrate the occasion and render it memorable. Competitions such as rangoli,treasure hunt, best singer,best bad singer to name a handful were conducted, apart from the activities conducted there were other items that piqued the appetite which included lemonades,cakes,pastries and chocolates . The fest began in the afternoon and went on till late in the evening. The proceedings of the afternoon began with a rousing cultural and entertainment program which included a farrago of competitions such as singing,dancing etc. The day also witnessed special performances by T.R.I.N. and BLAIZE, the music and dance societies respectively, the grand finale was a dance by BLAIZE which concluded the fest on a high note, Besides the multitudinous activities on stage, games such as teen patti were conducted on the sidelines. The enthusiastic student participation rendered the games and the whole event a rousing success, The Diwali celebrations ended at ISBF on the 27th when a Diwali special smorgasbord was conducted were free lunch was provided to all the students. All in all, on and all were satiated and left with minds replete with memories.
