Bachelor of Business Management

Bachelor of Business Management, or BBM, also referred to as Bachelor in Business Administration, or BSc Business & Management, is a degree course in Management spanning 3-4 years. This is one of the most popular courses of the management cadre, and focuses on the development of existing skills and inculcation of higher degree skills to carve a business professional out of a lay student. The students are exposed to several legal, organizational and marketing aspects and scenarios of the business and the management worlds, as a result of which they graduate as logical thinkers with practical problem-solving acumen. After having completed the course, they can explore avenues like management, pursue Master’s degree programmes, teaching and even start-up their own business with all the knowledge they have accumulated.

  • Some reputed colleges with Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) or collaborations with foreign universities provide opportunities for meritorious students to transfer into 2nd year at the college abroad to complete the rest of their undergraduate education.

Admission Details

Admission into the Bachelor of Business Management / Bachelor in Business Administration / BSc Business & Management programmes is generally based on an entrance exam conducted at the national level, or by individual institutions. Candidates must first apply for the exam after ascertaining that they are eligible for the same. The next step will be to appear for and qualify the exam. Once evaluation of the written exam is over, the qualified candidates generally have to appear for the next round, often a Personal Interview with the concerned university. The final results are subsequently declared taking into consideration candidates’ Board examination scores, entrance examination grades and performance in the Personal Interview. Successful candidates are then invited to pay the applicable fee, and to submit documents for verification.
