    Academic Experience and Research Interests

    Sahil worked as a Research Specialist at Gerson Lehrman Group from June 2016 to June 2017.His work included advancing business across geographies and industries, by providing the clients with the best possible choice of resources. He did a project on the topic of “Trade in Services”, in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), where he evaluated the performance of the service sector of the Indian economy.  He was also involved on a project with a JMI faculty on the project titled “Economy of Cancer”. This project covered the analysis of the asymmetry between the costs in terms of the expenditure incurred by the public sector and the benefits in terms of the facilities taken by general public. He also likes to write on the topics relating to macro-economic policies.

    Overview

    Sahil Arora did his B.A.(H) Economics degree from Rajdhani College, University of Delhi, followed by Master’s in Economics degree from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Central University. He worked on a project with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on the topic “Trade in Services”. He is involved with academic research with specialized interests in the area of Macroeconomics policies. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at ISBF, offering the course of Statistics to undergraduate students.
