Programme Structure

 

The programme is structured into three terms wherein a solid foundation is provided in Term I through financial economics, accounting, capital markets, financial analysis and corporate finance. Drawing upon this foundation, students then move to their chosen area of specialization in Term II – Wealth Management or Investment Management.

 

The Wealth Management track, in addition to covering essential elements of CFA level I, embeds the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) course curriculum. This helps students seek careers in financial planning and wealth management while understanding the basics of investment and financial analysis. Careers paths here include Relationship Managers, Financial Planners, Financial Advisors, Wealth Managers and Investment Advisors etc. Students choosing Investment Management Track cover courses offering a deeper understanding of the working of markets and behavior of various financial investment instruments.

 

During the programme of one year duration, students are required to successfully complete 15 modules and a research project to meet the academic requirements for the award of the Post graduate Diploma in Finance. The programme structure is as follows:
